Terms of use
Updated
These terms apply to any use of Trackboard. By creating an account, you accept them.
The service
Trackboard is an online music project management app, published by Henri Delozanne (see the legal notice). It lets you follow songs stage by stage, upload audio files to them, comment on them and collaborate with other users.
Your account
To use Trackboard, you must be at least 15 years old and create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for the activity of your account.
You can ask for your account to be deleted at any time by writing to contact@trackboard.eu.
Free and Pro plans
Trackboard offers two plans, with the same features:
- Free, at no cost: up to 30 tracks and 1 GB of audio storage.
- Pro, paid: unlimited tracks and 200 GB of audio storage, for €6 per month or €60 per year, VAT included.
In both plans, an audio file cannot exceed 500 MB. A track counts toward the limit of each of its members. Storage counts the files you uploaded yourself, on the tracks you are a member of.
Limits and prices may change. A price change only applies to an ongoing subscription when it renews, and you are told by email at least 30 days in advance.
Pro subscription
The Pro subscription is sold through Link, Stripe’s payment service, which acts as reseller and merchant of record. Payment, invoicing, taxes, refunds and the right of withdrawal are governed by Link’s terms, shown at checkout.
The subscription is monthly or yearly and renews automatically at the end of each period until it is cancelled.
With your first subscription, you can try Pro for free for 7 days. Your payment method is asked for when the trial starts and charged when it ends, unless you cancel before. The trial is offered once per account.
You can cancel at any time from Trackboard (your avatar’s menu, “Manage subscription”) or from your Link account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period: Pro stays active until then.
End of subscription and limits
When a Pro subscription ends, your account goes back to Free and keeps all its data. Past the Free limits, it turns read-only: you can browse, listen, comment and delete, but no longer create tracks or upload files until you are back under these limits.
If your account stays over its storage limit for 6 consecutive months, the extra audio files may be deleted, after several reminder emails sent to your account’s address.
Your content
You keep ownership of the content you upload to Trackboard (audio files, notes, comments). You grant the publisher only the right to store and display it, for you and for the members of the tracks concerned, in order to provide the service.
You guarantee that you hold the necessary rights to this content. Illegal content is forbidden, and the publisher may remove clearly illegal content that is reported to it.
Keep a copy of your important files: Trackboard is not a backup service.
Collaboration
You can invite other users to your tracks. The members of a track see its files, notes and comments, as well as the username and email of the other members.
A file can only be deleted by the person who uploaded it; if they leave the track, any member can delete it. A shared track cannot be deleted: you leave it, and the other members keep it.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- harm the operation or security of the service;
- get around the limits of your plan, for example by creating several accounts;
- upload illegal content or content that infringes the rights of others.
In case of a serious breach, the publisher may suspend or close your account, after informing you, except in an emergency.
Availability and liability
The publisher strives to provide an available and reliable service, without being able to guarantee it: interruptions may happen, in particular for maintenance. The publisher cannot be held liable in case of force majeure, of a fault on your part or of the act of a third party.
Personal data
How your data is processed is described in the privacy policy.
Changes to these terms
These terms may change. In case of a significant change, you are told by email or in the app before it takes effect.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law. In case of a dispute, first write to contact@trackboard.eu to look for an amicable solution. Otherwise, the dispute may be brought before the competent courts. If you are a consumer, you may also turn to a consumer mediator free of charge.
